TEWA Solar selected as Owner Engineer of France largest battery project !

TEWA Solar and its partner NR Flex are selected as Owner Engineer for the largest battery energy storage project in France!

TagEnergy will shortly begin the construction of a BESS site with a capacity of 240MW / 480MWh in Cernay-Lès-Reims, in the Marne region. The construction of this project will be carried out by Tesla.

Battery storage is crucial to ensure the resilience of the French energy mix, as the share of renewable energies is increasing year after year.

Involved in this project since its development phase, TEWA Solar and NR Flex will assist TagEnergy throughout the construction phase and until commercial operation, setting up an overall team of experts.

In 2024, TEWA Solar and NR Flex have worked on 2.2GWh of storage projects, Cernay-Lès-Reims being the flagship !
